AIEEE exam Application Procedure

Application can either be made Online or Offline, submitted on prescribed Application Form only.

Application form (Offline)

Information Bulletin containing Application Form can also be obtained by post from the Assistant Secretary (AIEEE), Central Board of Secondary Education, PS 1-2, Institutional Area, I P Extension, Patparganj, Delhi - 110092 or personally from Regional Offices of CBSE and Designated Branches of Syndicate Bank/other Banks/Designated Institutions (Click here for list of banks). The Syndicate Bank/other Banks, the designated institutions and Regional Offices of the CBSE will not send the Information Bulletin by Post. Hence, no request should be made to them for sending the Bulletin by Post. Candidate should not buy the Information Bulletin from any private publisher/ vendor as these may be fake Information Bulletins.

Candidate must ensure following before sending application form

1) Candidates must keep a photocopy of the Application Form for use as reference for future correspondence.
2) the candidate has signed the Form at two specified places
3) the application bears signature of the Father/Guardian
4) recent passport size two photographs taken on or after 1st September, 2009 one pasted in the space marked for it (one duly attested by the Principal/Head of institution where the candidate is studying in class XII/Passed XII or by Gazetted officer)
5) candidate appearing for both the courses of BE/B.Tech and B.Arch/B. Planning together and candidates opted centre in foreign country have to pay additional payment 6) the application is dispatched by Registered/Speed Post only 7) the left hand thumb impression of the candidate to be affixed at the prescribed column otherwise application form will be rejected 8) the Application Form sent by courier shall not be accepted and rather rejected 9) the Application Form sent/dispatched through the coaching centre will not be accepted and rather rejected 10) the use of address of any coaching centre/coaching institution is strictly prohibited, if any body use the address of any coaching centre/institution his/her application form will be rejected.

Application Fees

The cost of Information Bulletin inclusive of examination and counselling fee for BE/B.Tech only or B.Arch/ B.Planning only is Rs. 450/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs. 225/- for SC/ST candidates. Candidates appearing for both BE/B.Tech and B.Arch/B.Planning together should send their application form along with additional fee in the form of Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- for General & OBC candidates and Rs. 150/- for SC/ST candidates in favour of Secretary, CBSE payable at Delhi/ New Delhi. For candidates opting examination centre in foreign country, the examination and counselling fees for appearing in BE/B Tech only or B Arch/B Planning only is Rs. 1000/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates that includes counselling fee. They should send additional fees @ Rs. 550/- for General and OBC Category & Rs. 275/- for SC & ST Category in the form of demand draft in favour of Secretary, C.B.S.E payable at Delhi/New Delhi. Those who want to appear both BE/B.Tech & B. Arch/B Planning together they should send their application form along with additional fee in the form of demand Draft of Rs.1550/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs. 775/ - for SC/ST candidates in favour of Secretary, CBSE payable at Delhi/New Delhi.

To obtain Information Bulletin containing Application Form by post, candidates should send their request to the Assistant Secretary (AIEEE), Central Board of Secondary Education, PS 1-2, Institutional Area, IP Extension, Patparganj, New Delhi - 110092 along with a bank draft of Rs.500/- for General and OBC Category and Rs. 275/- for SC/ST candidates in favour of The Secretary, CBSE, payble at Delhi/New Delhi and a self-addressed envelope of 12” x 10”. This includes Rs. 50/- towards postal charges.

Candidates appearing for both BE/B.Tech and B.Arch/ B.Planning together should send their application form along with additional fee in the form of Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- for General & OBC and Rs. 150/- for SC/ST candidates in favour of Secretary, CBSE payable at Delhi/New Delhi.

Online submission of application

Online submission of application may be made by accessing the AIEEE website www.aieee.nic.in. The candidate should supply all details while filling up the Online Form. Candidates are required to take a print of the Online Application after successful submission of data. The print out of the computer generated Application Form/Confirmation Page complete in all respect as applicable for Offline submission should be sent to the Assistant Secretary(AIEEE), Central Board of Secondary Education, P.S.1-2, Institutional Area, Patparganj, I.P. Extn., Delhi-11 0092 by Speed Post/Registered Post only. Candidates should pay the fee as mentioned. The fee could be remitted in the fol lowing ways:

(a) by credit card, or
(b) Through Demand Draft which should be in favour of the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi drawn in any Nationalized Bank payable at Delhi. Write your name, address, registration number/application number and paper opted on the back of the Demand Draft, or

Candidates submitting Application Online are required:
- to retain a photocopy of computer generated confirmation page with registration/application number.
- The candidate can get his/her confirmation page after confirmation of fee by bank or CBSE for that the candidate can check the status of receipt of fee by entering Regn. No., Name & Date of Birth. More information and instructions for filling-in the Online Application Form would be made available on the www.aieee.nic.in from 14.11.2009 to 31.12.2009 (5.00 p.m.)
Candidates must ensure that the Application Form along with original Demand Draft should reach to the Board on or before the last date i.e. 05.01.2010. Even after the successful submission of Online Application within due date, if the Application Form does not reach the Board on or before the last date or without the requisite fee, the Application Form of the candidate will be treated as cancelled. The candidates should supply all the required details while filling up the Online Form. On submission of detail, a confirmation page with Registration Number shall be generated. Candidates are required to take print out of confirmation page and paste photograph, put left hand thumb impression and sign in the space earmarked for the purpose.

Note:
    - Request for change/correction in any particulars in the Application Form shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
    - The board will not be responsible for any consequences arising out of non acceptance of any correction/addition/deletion in any particular ones filled in a application form what so ever reasons may be.
    - Incomplete Application Forms, or the forms having over-writing, shall be rejected.
    - The candidates who have made application online must submit computer generated Application Form along with Demand Draft of any scheduled Bank/Challan/Proof of remittence of exam fees.
