| Can I use online study material for exam preparation?

Why not? If any one is providing good material go ahead and use it. I’ll just add few points:
1) prefer online material which provides discussion to
2) use online material for discussion as much as possible
3) One good way is to answer others questions, you will return good answers from others. If you are not active till now on this I’ll suggest start by participating heavily on Examcrazy.com
4) Online material with discussion has one disadvantage, every one is allowed to post comments hence validity can not be checked so be careful. But this is very small disadvantage as compared to vast advantages associated with one line study material with discussion
